Because I've really been meaning to post but can't get my scanner working I'm just going to put these up. They're poems that I very randomly wrote in my sketch book today.
Untitled 1)
If someone led you to an abyss and told you to stand on the edge and see what darkness is,
I know you would,
you would stand there strong and sure and look into
endless depths.
But would I?
I who fear the dark
Would I?
Untitled 2)
You said you hated trees
Trees tall and looming
Trees that change with colors that betray
Trees with no feelings no screams for ripping bark
Trees bare and stripped, shameless in there nudity
You said you hated trees
And I said I didn't

Yay, nice poems. It's always great to hear how words and images get put into the sketchbook and what comes out after they've gone through "the blender" together.
And I don't really hate trees. Only when I draw them. :-P
Oh, the I hate trees thing was totally unrelated, but now that you mention it maybe that's where I subconsciously got it from. That's funny.
P.S.- I know you don't hate trees :)
ha, i got crazy shivers when i read the first poem - me gusta
